Event: Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur is considered the holiest day on the Jewish calendar and marks the end of the Jewish High Holidays season. It comes ten days after Rosh Hashanah and typically falls between late September and early October on the Hebrew calendar. On Yom Kippur, Jewish people fast for twenty-four hours as a way to repent for their sins from the past year. This day is also used as an opportunity to reflect on one’s behavior and make amends with those whom they may have wronged.

The question is … will the markets focus on the positives leading up to Yom Kippur?
