Watch List #6: Inertia Markets

Watch List #6 monitors markets that are currently in a high energy phase and closely tracking established trends.  The trading premise is simple; a market in motion will remain in motion … which presents opportunities to jump on the trend.  Markets with high energy reading are in motion and have been in motion for a few days or weeks.   When we combine high energy (inertia) markets with strong existing trends we can leg into new or additional positions to take full advantage of the trend.  Pay close attention to markets highlighted as focus markets, as they offer best opportunities moving forward.

Watch List #6 is divided into two main sections; Focus and Bias

  • Focus: New markets (long or short) recently added to the Watch List which offer potential near-term trading opportunities.
  • Bias: Existing markets (long or short) that have been on the Watch List for awhile and offer no new call to action.
